Lynsey Baughen
Primary Education Specialist
Lynsey Baughen is the Education Specialist for Primary Education at Cinglevue International. She works with the Research and Development team collaboratively to support Cinglevue to drive forward innovation by way of giving voice to the experiences and pre-requisites of teachers from a diverse range of educational contexts.
She was an ICT coordinator, e-safety officer and champion teacher for Virtual Learning Platforms, she has an affinity with the imaginative use of technology to deliver engaging educational solutions. Teaching in and around London for a number of years, Lynsey cultivated a strong interest in therapeutic learning, inclusive education and the utilisation of an arts integrated curriculum.
Lynsey gained her degree from Liverpool John Moore’s University, before completing a postgraduate certificate in Primary Education with Southampton University. Upon recognising that many schools were struggling to support neurodiversities and student mental health, Lynsey went on to complete a postgraduate in Dyslexia and Literacy verified by the University of York and began a foundation course in Therapeutic Arts Practices with Hertfordshire University. During this time, Lynsey discovered a passion and affinity for teaching and supporting students with a diagnosis of autism and trained in augmentative and alternative communication, before accepting a placement as the lead teacher of a specialist autism resource.
Previously an Art Scholarship student herself, Lynsey has been a mentor and tutor to gifted and talented students. She herself has been an illustrator and an exhibiting artist. Lynsey has undertaken course training with Central Saint Martin’s College in London and Shillington College in Brisbane and holds additional qualifications in marketing and graphic design. Lynsey most recently worked as an art specialist in a special developmental school. Whilst working with a therapeutic, sensory and play-based curriculum she extended her creative and holistic pedagogical knowledge by re-engaging with her postgraduate studies in therapeutic arts practices via the MIECAT Institute in Melbourne.
Working at Cinglevue, of particular interest to Lynsey are twice exceptional students and how to empower teachers to create personalised student-centric solutions that develop the whole child and capture talent, challenge and attainment in a way that allows individuals to progress to their full potential. Lynsey is curious and open to learning, she enjoys her work with Cinglevue, which keeps her immersed in an environment of passionate learning, creative application and researched ingenuity.
Dr. Alireza Ahadi
Post-doctoral Fellow, School of Education, Macquarie University
Dr. Alireza is a postdoctoral research fellow at Macquarie University. He has more than 35 peer reviewed publications and his interests are around machine learning, text mining and learning analytics. Before the webinar, he will guide you through the “Diana Laurillard’s Conversational pedagogical framework” through pre-recording videos to illustrate how this can be implemented in the different levels of education. Randa is a math teacher with more than 12 years of experience. Her interests are based on educational technology and cognitive development. Currently, she is doing her PhD around schematisation that shapes pedagogical innovation, supports problem solving and conceptual understanding. Through the session, she will help you to discover our collaborative design space, portfolio, course design, feedback and more powerful tools that will support your work and engagement with your colleagues and students.
Jenny Li is the Secondary Education Specialist within the Research and Development team at Cinglevue International. Her role focuses on collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance existing solutions and explore how educational technologies can be used to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
She has taught in both Victorian and Western Australian schools with experience in Pastoral Care as well as subject areas including English, Special Education, Humanities, Debating and Public Speaking, ICT, Media and Robotics. Through her various leadership roles as Learning Support Supervisor, Subject Team Leader and Canvas Champion, Jenny has provided and facilitated professional development opportunities for staff to build their capacity in differentiating curriculum and assessment for students with additional needs, using feedback to develop teacher practice and implementing digital learning and evaluation technologies in synchronous and asynchronous settings.
Jenny is passionate about using progressive and effective pedagogies to develop students into lifelong learners and future leaders of the world. She has an interest in resource creation, LMS design, wellbeing and technology in the classroom. After noticing a gap in visual-based resources for students online, she founded Ace Study Guides in collaboration with two colleagues. Driven by student voice, contemporary and quality resources (including study guides, Youtube videos and worksheets) are created and shared. Since the move to remote learning as a result of COVID-19, Jenny’s role under the Head of Innovation as Canvas Champion has given her valuable insight into what teachers, educational leaders, students and parents need from a LMS platform. As such, she is incredibly excited to work with Cinglevue and its vision to redefine and transform teaching and learning.
Michelle Luca is the Research Partnership and Engagement Manager at Cinglevue responsible for advancing strategic research by enabling collaborative research initiatives with universities, research partners and stakeholders.
Cinglevue has recently partnered with Macquarie University and its Data Analytics Research Lab to establish a landmark Research Collaboration Centre (RRC). With this context, Michelle will link RCC programs to customers, industry partners and the research community, ensuring effective engagement and timely outcomes for all parties. This focus will help advance Cinglevue’s key research and innovation interests.
Currently, she is part of the iPREP Biodesign program team. This is an industry research engagement program that develops commercial solutions through collaborative research projects with late-stage PhD students, which Cinglevue has been part of since 2015.
Michelle has 9+ years of experience in the Western Australian healthcare sector. She completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Curtin University in 2010 and has worked across many public hospitals as a senior clinical pharmacist. Michelle has also completed postgraduate qualifications in fitness, based on her strong personal interests in fitness and sport. Michelle’s board range of work experience allows her to provide new and innovative perspectives in research, engagement, innovation, promotion and educational technology.
Dr Michael Garrett is the Head of Research & Innovation at Cinglevue International where his primary focus concerns strategic research direction, research translation, and leveraging applied research to inform the continued evolution and innovation of products and services in accordance with broader commercial imperatives. This entails leading the internal research team at Cinglevue in addition to developing and utilising collaborative research partnerships with leading Australian universities to drive innovation and ongoing product evolution across a range of fields and disciplines, encompassing educational technologies, individual differences, cognitive psychology, and the science of learning, educational data mining, machine learning, data analytics and data visualisation, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and natural language processing, linguistics, and speech recognition.
Dr Michael completed his Ph. D. in 2012, focusing on the use of three-dimensional (3D) graphics applications to address high stakes real world training outcomes. Michael has undertaken research projects in collaboration with the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian mining industry to assess the viability of 3D simulation environments for spatial awareness and emergency evacuation familiarisation and training. These projects have emphasised the value of applied research and industry collaboration in driving real world change, with findings published in numerous journal articles and conference papers, and subsequent extensions involving the application of this research to develop commercial offerings utilised by industry.
He has over 20 years’ experience across various ICT and software development roles and projects and is currently also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Edith Cowan University Institute for Education Research.
Charlotte Allen is the Education Specialist for Primary Education at Cinglevue International. Her main focus is to work with the Research and Development team to ensure the vision of enabling authentic student-centered learning through inspiring students to become aware of their incredible potential and facilitating how schools can equip them with the skills necessary for success in learning and life.
Charlotte has been teaching for 8+ years in both Western Australia and New South Wales schools. She has comprehensive teaching experience ranging from early childhood to upper primary classrooms. Charlotte has been part of several school leadership teams working as part of highly effective teams in the role of Curriculum Coordinator, specialising in Mathematics, Science, STEM and ICT. In 2020, Charlotte was awarded the Teachers’ Guild of NSW 2020 World Teachers’ Recognition Award for excellence and expertise in the teaching profession.
She has been involved in mentoring and leading teachers in improving their pedagogical practices within Mathematics through the Mathematical Expertise and Excellence program in Sydney Catholic Schools. She has been part of a team of expert teachers planning exemplary teaching programs for the Science and STEM curriculum. Charlotte is an inspiring, motivating and dedicated educator who has a passion for technology, collaboration and creating excitement in education.
Michelle is a professional teacher, with more than 18 years of experience around the world. She is an experienced presenter at conferences such as the ePortfolio Forum in 2018 and 2019. Her passion is around pedagogical theories and educational practices, specialising in Montessori and Steiner education. During the webinar, she will illustrate how “Laurillard’s Conversational pedagogical framework” can be applied using technology. Additionally, she will introduce you to our Virtuoso platform, which you will explore during the session to discover course design, resource pool and ePortfolio as a space where you can capture evidence for your Professional Development.

Nadee Navaratne is the Architect – Software Quality Assurance at Cinglevue, being responsible for heading the quality assurance team of Cinglevue. He ensures the product goes to the customers without functional or none-functional defects, which includes performance, security, compliance and accessibility.
Nadee has 14 years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) area. Additionally, he has been involved in the security testing, test automation, performance testing and general Quality Assurance (QA), having expertise in these three last areas. He has worked around different industries such as Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data migration and transformation, insurance – long term care, sock exchange and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). During 9 years, Nadee was part of Virtusa (Pvt) Ltd as the Head of test automation and security testing, he was a key member in developing the Virtusa test automation framework known as VTAF, which is the primary test automation platform for Virtusa. After that, he expended 5 years as the Head of quality and implementation role at Infor, Testing as a service platform.
He has an honours degree in Information Technology for Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
Dominic Manley is the Solutions Architect – Immersive Technologies at Cinglevue for more than 2 years. He leads the Immersive team and projects, being in charge of Haven project, the immersive and experiential platform that integrates with the learning engagement platform, Virtuoso.
He has 20 years of experiences developing IT solutions around education, research and health industries. Dominic led the development of different projects including the Virtual Plant Cell for PlantEnergyBiology ARC Centre, Bionic Me Jetpack for SciTech and the Speak and Seek for the University of Western Australia, UWA. Additionally, he was the co-founder, chairman and committee member of AVRL (Augmented & Virtual Reality Labs), a not-for-profit group set up to accelerate the adoption of immersive technologies in WA education and research projects. His areas of experience include solutions & systems architecture; web, mobile and immersive (VR/AR) app development; data visualisation and analytics.
Dominic holds a bachelor in Computing Science from the University of Newcastle, UK. From 2015, he has been running presentations about 3D, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR).
Diana Salas is a Research Analyst in Marketing, responsible for engaging with the K-tertiary education space, identifying opportunities and creating strategies to expand the recognition of Cinglevue solutions. She addresses schools’ community needs by seeking to better understand their challenges and expectations.
Diana has 4+ years of experience in the education, IT and health sector within Australia, US and Colombia. Her most prominent roles were occupied in the ‘Universidad de la Sabana’ in Colombia as a Student Coordinator, Student Director, Promotion Coordinator and Professor. She has engaged in schools and one hospital as an Educational Psychologist and Health Educator. Such experiences have enabled Diana to obtain a global understanding of the education sector allowing her to work with diverse cultures and environments. Her areas of interest are around consumer behaviour, market analysis and immigrant communities.
She is a psychologist from Colombia with two research projects awards and a Master of Business in Marketing with Distinction from Australia. At Cinglevue, Diana combines her marketing and psychological expertise in the educational industry, thriving to make a transformation in the education system. She seeks to provide students, parents, teachers and educational leaders with the tools to create an inclusive, enjoyable and productive ecosystem, where learning is perceived as the essence of life to explore the world.
Randa Siksek is completing an industry PHD through her work as a member of Cinglevue’s Research and Development Team. Her role focuses on STEM-related research in areas of educational technology and cognitive development. More specifically, Randa is interested in the cognitive and emotional influences on student learning, such as mathematical self-efficacy and self-regulated learning in digital learning environments. Currently, Randa is engaging with research related to the interrogation of the interactions between the various components of conceptual growth, and schematisation to draw attention to progress-measures and improvement-based feedback.
Her background in the area of teaching and learning and curriculum design has developed through inquiry of her own practice as a teacher for 12 years and through her post-graduate studies. Her Masters research focused on enhancing teachers’ knowledge, particularly in STEM and mathematics teaching and learning.
Her curriculum experience spans various Computer Science and Mathematics high school curricular, including the Australian curriculum, 6-10 curriculum from the United States, Advance Placement (AP), the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Randa holds a BSc in Software Engineering and Graduate Diploma of Education with major in both Computer Science and Mathematics Secondary Education. She completed her Master of Education with UWA in 2017.
Chathurika Gunewardhene is the Head of People & Culture and Acting Country Manager at CingleVue International Pvt Ltd. Chathurika is the single point of contact for Sri Lankan (SL) operations and handles the complete Sri Lankan Human Resources function.
Chathurika is a HR professional with extensive experience and a unique set of skills acquired over a decade in the IT and Education industry. Chathurika holds HR and IT qualifications, and she is currently studying for her MBA at the Institute Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Chathurika started her career as a lecturer at Singapore Informatics Computer Institute (PVT) Ltd, and subsequently transitioned into the HR function. Prior to joining CingleVue International, Chathurika worked as Head of HR at ExileSoft and a Business HR partner at Virtusa.
Sanjaya Bentotage is the Chief Architect at CingleVue International where he is responsible for managing and evolving the software architecture and the technology stack. He also leads the Engineering team where he is involved in the enforcement of best practices in software design and development. Sanjaya collaborates closely with the Research & Development team with the aim of engineering & productising the research outcomes.
Sanjaya brings over 15 years of experience in the software industry where he was responsible for design, development and delivery of enterprise software products. He started his career as a software engineer at CodeGen International and had played many dynamic roles as a team lead and an architect. Throughout his career he has been involved in designing enterprise scale, high performance software solutions for multinational blue chip companies. He specialises in modular design principles, CI/CD, containerisation, container orchestration and big data platforms.
Sanjaya holds a B.Sc. Engineering degree majoring in Computer Science, from University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka. He is also a Certified Scrum Master.

Greg brings more than 25 years of international technology industry leadership, computer software and hardware expertise, and executive management experience to his role. As CEO, Greg oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Cinglevue’s operations, including marketing, sales, consulting, alliances, channels, and support whilst his areas of key focus are leadership, innovation, and our customers.
Before establishing Cinglevue, Greg worked at Cap Gemini (UK) and Fujitsu Services (UK), where he held a variety of senior management and operations roles, ultimately serving as Head of Service Delivery within the Public Sector Business Unit and the Europe, Middle East and Africa – EMEA, Region Business Unit. In his time at Fujitsu Services, Greg led a successful effort to improve operational efficiency, strengthen the service offering, driving growth and improving customer satisfaction.
Greg studied for a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
