Enabling authentic student-centred learning
We empower progressive school communities by enabling transformation of their learning ecosystems.
Who we are
Founded in 2010, and headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with offices in the United States of America and Sri Lanka. We are a research led education technology solutions provider and we distinguish ourselves not just by our knowledge and expertise but by the diversity of our team’s real-world experiences, character, work ethic and global mindset. We continuously learn from our actions and apply our learning to future actions.
Our healthy and vibrant culture fosters an obsession with innovation and an innate desire for continuous learning, ensuring personal and collective growth. We take concrete and intentional steps towards ensuring that real research consistently drives the development, selection, and deployment of all our education technologies – preserving the reliable delivery of excellent customer experiences.
Even in this era of rapidly emerging technology we don’t see the role of the teacher becoming any less important; rather, teachers will remain critical navigators and co-creators of new tools and learning experiences – in partnership with parents and students. As a research and technology solutions provider we see ourselves playing an important part in helping teachers and leaders effectively serve this role.
We believe that . . .
Every student should have the best possible experience at school and remain a part of a thriving learning community, where education inside and outside of the classroom is a transformative experience.
The guiding principles for our platform Virtuoso
Enabling the alignment and integration of research and education on the Virtuoso platform.
Teachers are able to engage with research both independently or as research teams, to refine their approaches and thereby ensure the highest quality of teaching is delivered. This in turn assures that students will enjoy a challenging, innovative and enriching school experience, that prepares them for a life and careers that will demand flexibility, resilience and self-awareness.

In virtually every definition of engaged learning, students take an active role in the learning process (Wolf-Wendel, Ward & Kinzie,2009)
We strongly believe in the idea of students as partners, change agents, producers, and co-creators of their own learning and advocate a greater democratisation of the educational process. Virtuoso facilitates the co-creation of learning and teaching such that teachers and students can work collaboratively with one another to create components of curricula and/or pedagogical approaches.

We enable processes which embeds care and support throughout the curriculum.
We enable schools to meet their specific mandate of delivering a range of equitable student support services which, at their core, seek to improve student engagement, create opportunities, build personal capacity and remove barriers for effective engagement in the experience of schooling.

Students need to be supported to build relationships, understand how they learn best, develop the skills to become confident independent learners, who can apply all that they learn and themselves in context beyond school.
For example, through the embedding of employability skills in the curriculum and using our ePortfolio tools to define strategies that allow students to work towards achieving their personal goals.

Enabling students to engage with their present and equip them to be the change-makers of the future.
Providing a framework that empowers schools with the ability to employ service as a mechanism for fostering a sense of community across communities through the intentional design and creation of contemporary issues and challenges into the curriculum that are based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
